Caribou, Maine – “Teamwork is an essential component of the Hospitalist’s role. Robert has much experience working in very busy hospital settings with multiple physicians in play at one time,” says Pines Chief Operating Officer, Lisa Caron. “He is a great addition to our expanding hospitalist team often known as the Cary/Pines Hospitalist team which includes Dr. Claude Boma, Dr. Irene Djuanda, Dr. John Bouchard, Dr. Jeffrey Hoeksma and Dr. Alvin Wycoco,” said Caron.

Robert earned his Bachelors in Psychology from the University of Southern Maine, then furthered his education at Allegheny University of Health Sciences earning his Bachelors in Health Science and completing the Physician Assistant program. He brings over twenty two years of Physician Assistant experience to the Cary and Pines team with broad clinical skill in general practice, emergency medicine, ambulatory care and occupational health medicine. Most recently, Robert was a Physician Assistant for Eastern Maine Medical Center in their Occupational Health office.

Robert will be working closely with referring Pines physicians who see patients in six community health centers from Van Buren to Presque Isle, Washburn to Fort Fairfield and the highly skilled Cary Medical Center staff. He began seeing patients at the hospital earlier this month.
