New Sweden Native Dr. Jarryd Rossignol Returns Home To Expand Primary Care Services At Pines Health Services

Caribou, Maine – “The addition of Dr. Rossignol to the Pines Health team allows us to expand our high quality primary health services, specifically to our patients in the communities of Presque Isle and Fort Fairfield who may not currently have a health care home,” said Pines Chief Operating Officer Lisa Caron. “Dr. Rossignol grew up in The County, and it was his desire to return home to practice medicine after completing his schooling and residency program in Montana. We are ecstatic to welcome him back home.”

Dr. Rossignol will begin seeing patients the week of July 29th at our Presque Isle Family Health Center, located at 66 Spruce Street in Presque Isle on Monday’s, Tuesday’s and Friday’s. Additionally he will also see patients on Wednesday’s at Kimball Community Health Center located at 11 Harmony Lane in Fort Fairfield Dr. Rossignol is welcoming all patients who are in need of a Primary Care Provider.

Dr. Rossignol received his Bachelor of Science degree in Pre-Medical Biology and his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the University of New England in Biddeford, Maine. He recently completed his residency with Montana Family Residency program at Riverstone Health in Billings, Montana where he was named most outstanding Family Practice Resident of the year. In his new role as a family practice provider, he looks forward to providing compassionate care and demonstrating true understanding of health care to all his patients.

In his spare time Dr. Rossignol enjoys all four seasons spent outdoors including; camping and fly fishing to name a few. He also enjoys playing his electric guitar and has interest researching historical biographies. However, most importantly to Dr. Rossignol is spending time with his wife, Shannon, their young son, Caspian and soon to be twin boys who are expected this fall.
