Aroostook County Native Kirsten Darrell, PA-C Joins Pines Health Services

Caribou, Maine – August 19, 2022 – Pines Health Services announced today that Kirsten Darrell, PA-C has joined the Presque Isle Health Center team as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

It’s wonderful to have Kirsten come home to Aroostook County and join our team of primary care providers,” said Pines Chief Operating Officer Lisa Caron. “She has many years of family practice experience and we are happy that she decided to join the Pines family.”

Before returning to Maine, Darrell worked for more than 15 years in Hawaii serving the underserved Hawaiian population. Her experience includes family care, women’s health, pediatrics, chronic pain and chronic condition management. Darrell earned a Master of Health Science as a Physician Assistant from Drexel University, Philadelphia, PA. She has a Bachelor of Science in medical biology from the University of New England.

In her role as a Physician Assistant, Darrell will be seeing patients who are in need of a primary care provider at Pines Presque Isle Health Center located at 66 Spruce Street.
