Pines Health Services has an immediate full-time opportunity for a Medical Office Specialist at the Wasburnburn Health Center. The successful applicant will be responsible for scheduling patients, answering phones, and scanning medical charts into the electronic medical record. The position will also have phlebotomy job duties. The successful applicant should possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Previous medical office and phlebotomy experience preferred. Computer experience and medical terminology are a plus.

The successful applicant must know human resources concepts, practices, policies and procedures, and employment laws.

Preferred applicants should have a clinical background at the LPN or RN level, with prior supervisory experience. The applicant must be competent with computers, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be an outstanding listener, be a problem solver, be able to meet agreed-upon delivery deadlines and prioritize workload, and be able to work professionally and independently.

Must possess the ability to design and implement clinical pathways and protocols for treatment of chronic conditions.
