Behavioral Health

Pines is pleased to offer services that promote overall well-being. Our team of Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW) staffs each of our primary health care centers located in Caribou, Presque Isle, Van Buren and Fort Fairfield.

Licensed Clinical Social Workers have received their Master of Social Work (MSW) from an accredited school of social work, have completed two years of supervised clinical practice, and have passed the National Social Work exam and have become licensed at the independent practice level. Pines social workers provide counseling to individuals, families, couples, as well as children and adolescents. They can assist patients and families who are dealing with matters related to mental health such as depression, anxiety and more. In addition, our social workers can focus on providing support to our patients who are living with chronic health conditions.
